Where the information comes from

Each page draws on three kinds of source, in this order. Every page also says where its own facts came from and when they were checked.

  • Official information — floor plans, notices and fare tables published by the operators, facilities and the city.
  • On-site checks — where we have visited, the page says “Personally checked” with the date. Routes without that note have not been walked by us yet.
  • Third-party guides — used where no official page exists, and labelled as such on the page.

Official sources

  • Nagoya City Transportation Bureau — subway stations, platforms, exits, toilets, City Bus terminal and contactless payment
  • JR Central — Nagoya, Kanayama and Shinkansen station facilities; platform doors
  • Meitetsu — stations, fares, μSKY, boarding assistance and the Nagoya Service Centre
  • Meitetsu Bus — Meitetsu Bus Center, Centrair limousine bus, SRT operation
  • Kintetsu — Kintetsu Nagoya Station barrier-free information
  • Aonami Line — stations, accessibility and fares
  • Centrair (Central Japan International Airport) — terminals, access, bus and taxi information
  • City of Nagoya — SRT articulated bus, wheelchair outing map and open data
  • Asunal Kanayama — floor guide, facilities and access
  • Nagoya MK Taxi — wheelchair-accessible taxi, fees and booking
  • Station buildings and malls on the relevant pages — Oasis 21, Central Park, Sakaechika, ESCA, Gate Walk, Unimall, Sun Road, Midland Square, Dai Nagoya Building, KOMEHYO

Reference and third-party sources

Fares and times from third-party sources are marked on the page where they appear. Coin-locker information in particular is unofficial.

How current it is

Station buildings change constantly. Lifts go out of service, gates close for construction, toilets are relocated. We note when a page was last checked, and we would rather leave a detail out than state it with false confidence.

Before you travel, please confirm anything critical with the operator directly — especially if you need staff assistance boarding a train.

Accessibility Map NAGOYA is an independent guide and is not affiliated with the operators or venues described on this site.
